Pork shows depict optimistic outlook for 2018

It's been a whirlwind month of back-to-back pork shows each week. Each show gives us a chance to catch up with customers and acquaintances. It also gives us a chance to gauge the atmosphere in pork production for the year. The SD, MN, IA shows all depicted the same idea; there's a buzz of optimism in the production air going into 2018. There's a lot of hope building as prices remain good even with record supply levels.

Next week will be the final two shows, Missouri and Illinois Pork Expos, until the World Pork Expo this summer. We'd love to discuss production and how to help your farm capitalize on this year. Follow the links above for more information. Or contact us for more information.
